I’m a pastor here at Honey Creek. I am privileged to share in the preaching and teaching on some weekends and at other gatherings. I shepherd and oversee the ministries of the church and I also share in the ministry of counseling.
My husband, Jeff, and I have two grown children that we are crazy about! We also have two dogs that keep us company since our kids decided to move out of state.
My husband and I were married at this church (then known as Calvary) so many years ago. At that time, I had no desire to be in ministry and told my husband-to-be that very thing just outside the front doors of this church the day before we were to be married. Little did I know that so many years later I would be standing on the platform of that very same church as a pastor! I love my life, I love being in ministry, and I love being in ministry at this church! (God was right again.)
Romans 8:35-39: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? … No in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels or demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
